Mid Foot Arch Massage

After sustaining a Lisfranc injury, you might experience continuous pain in your Arch which can make it difficult for you to walk. An ice bottle arch massage can be used to reduce swelling and pain.

Calf stretches

An immobilization period will be given to your foot following a fracture of tarsals or metacarpals. This will allow you heal your dislocation properly.

  • Standing about three feet from a wall, place both your hands on it.
  • Your heel should be on the ground, and your foot should be extended behind you.
  • Now, bend towards the wall until there is a slight stretch in your calves.
  • For 20-30 seconds, hold this position and then release your tension.
  • This can be repeated 3 to 5 times

You can do this soleus muscle stretching on your lower leg.

  • You can do the runner stretching, but you should bend the knee of your calf while stretching.
  • Now focus your soleus muscles to stretch. You should feel the stretch behind your ankle and heel bone.
  • Continue the stretch for 20-30 seconds and then repeat three to five times.
